Looking for someone reliable for simple extensions. Thanks!

I heard @Bad_azz is contemplating for her hubby to set foot in the wonderful world of agents?

But seriously, I've always been somewhat surprised that Bandung and Surabaya have so few active agents. Of course it makes perfect sense that most are in Jakarta and Bali, but those cities are huge and it really seems practically impossible to get one over there (cf. the old forum, also for retirement).

Are we talking higher (Visit Visa) or lower (KITAS) extension frequencies?

30 day extension of a visitor visa?

Should be incredibly easy- any particular reason you wish to use an agent?
PM me if you don't want to details on the public board.
I am currently in Jakarta & have not yet convinced hubby that being a visa agent would fulfill his life long ambitions :D
But will help in any way we can.

Well, I agree it should be incredibly easy. It's for my friend who's visiting. And with great timing, a different friend here got "interviewed" for a couple hours when she went in to extend a VOA and has spent the last almost two weeks without a passport not knowing what's going on and now it looks like she may be deported for unclear reasons. I extended a VOA one time here in Bandung but they made me go in six times, 4 of those just to take a stupid photo. So all this has my buddy thinking he should just get an agent or take a trip to Singapore. He plans to get on a sosbud in the near future and would like an agent for those extensions as well.

I can only imagine they think the friend with the VOA that has been interviewed is working illegally, or not here for the reasons stated on that visa.
I used to put in the reason for extension box that I wanted to understand more about indonesian culture & language.
If one states that visiting family or friends is the reason, KanIm might think- hang on- wrong visa.
When is your friend's visa due to expire? In the next day or two or a bit longer?
If its after this coming weekend, I am happy to meet up on friday & take a look at it all with you

PS, Monday mornings at KanIm you will find the agents- they are the ones with several files in their arms- Mondays are always exceptionally busy there- haven't been in for a while, but if the visa place is still upstairs that is where you will find the agents.

Wow, thanks, that's a very kind offer! But his visa expires in a week so he needs to start the process in the next day or two.

Great idea.
