Just bumping this thread in case Mike & Dot are subscribing to It, or still taking a look at the forum occasionally.
Mike & Dot: I hope that at some point (preferably multiple points) you'll update the forum on how your plans go - what you decide to do and why, and how it all works out.
Keep in mind that the audience for your updates isn't just the jaded old farts who tend to post here. Other newbies contemplating a move will also come across the documentation of your experiences, and hopefully learn from what you discover and decide.
