Hi everyone, WNA here, married to an Indonesian a few months back, and currently living overseas.
I recently got an E31A visa. I have to say, the process felt both easy and difficult at the same time. Having everything online was convenient, but the poorly designed forms (mostly for the WNI guarantor) and the payment process made me think twice. But anyway, before I get too off-topic...
First question: Does anyone know if I can activate my ITAS and the multiple re-entry permit (IMK) by using the autogate at CGK Terminal 3? This is the same way I've been entering for the last two years with a B1 e-VOA. The reasons that I ask are: 1) I prefer not dealing with an Indonesian official if I can continue to benefit from the autogate 'smoothness'; 2) I want to ensure I have the e-ITAS (as an email into my mail inbox the moment I cross the gate, I heard?) so that I can enter/exit in the future without any problem.
Second question: Assuming I'll only be in the country for a week after first (Da7 1) entering with my E31A, is it realistic for me and my WNI spouse to visit Dukcapil to apply for the SKTT on Day 2 to kick off the process, so that the spouse can pick it up later once the SKTT is ready? I don't expect to receive the SKTT during that short trip. My main goal is to just start the process and follow the "rule" of applying within 7-14 days of getting the e-ITAS (which will be the day I land). Plus, the nice people in Dukcapil does not need to know that I leave on Day 7 going to back to my home country and return later on Day 42 , etc ,etc
Thanks in advance for your help.
