Hello everyone,
I have recently been granted an ITAS vias for one year using an agency. They have not been really helpful past getting my application through about the next steps and continuous ask for further fees when I ask questions so I hope the community can help.
I have two questions:
1) I just got a new passport (Australian) so need to update this on my ITAS. I can't see how I can do this on the webpage so do I need an agent? If no agent, then how is this done?

2) I have a business in Yogyakarta where I am a director which is why I got the ITAS. I intend to start consulting to Indonesia businesses so would like to know do need to convert this to a Kitas or not and how can I do this?

Thanks in advance.
Kind regards,
Mark

You depend on the agent unless if the agent already gave you the evisa website's account data that he/she created (username or email + password to sign in - later you need to find out how to change the email , phone no. , ...) .
If no agent, then how is this done?
You sign in at https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/ ,
  • click "Services" then "Apply" at "Stay Permit" (or "My Application" + "Staypermit") ,
  • at the right side of your ITAS's data , click "Action", then "Change Data" , then "Change of passport data".

KITAS means an ITAS's card , so if you already got the e-ITAS/ELECTRONIC LIMITED STAY PERMIT in a pdf file , it is all you need in relation to staying in Indonesia . But be alerted that you should check carefully if the ITAS you got is really the one related to your business .

Thanks for the reply Marcus. Yes, my ITAS is associated with my business but thanks for the clarification on what KITAS is?

Another important thing is if you can work as the director with or without a work permit from the Manpower Department .

"... to work in the PMA without work permit as a director you will need minimum 15 billion Rp in personal shares for KITAP, and 10 billion Rp in shares for KITAS. Anything less than that will require a work permit." .

Poster's Note : PT PMA is the only type of Indonesian business that a foreign can own .
