Lots of hotels claim to be pet friendly on hotel booking sites until one reads the small print.

My Daughter tells me that some hotels in the Anyer area take pets, she will check with a friend for details

I would think 99% of all hotels and restaurants here would not accept "pets" (I assume you mean a dog not a goldfish?) unless it was a guide dog or hearing dog or such like, more so since supposedly dogs are haram and some Indo's don't like dogs, plus the hygiene issue too.
Best thing to do is email the hotel directly, I doubt very much there is a website unless you do a special search on traveloka etc etc? Under filters.

Is there a reason you want to bring your "pet" with you? Do you plan to leave it in the room or take it out with you? Wouldn't it just be easier to leave the pet with a friendly neighbour or in a kennel or cattery?

Yes I know a pet is part of the family, but hotel room is only one problem - also malls and restaurants would frown on you bringing a pet with you?
Since you didn't specify I assume it is a dog?

I don't think there is such a website but if you want to make one & want someone to help research for you I can check out places in Bandung :D

Like the others already said- without details of the "pet" or required location it is not easy to help you out.

If you get stuck:
We still have the pet services here & one of our dog walkers might be available to house & pet sit , depending on details, distance, tasks etc. PM me.

Well company housing is not yet firmed up so I am researching the DIY mode with an allowance. Thought it might be easier to live in a serviced apartment or something.
If one searches for Pet Friendly hotels etc. they are listed. But when on checks the small print all the hotels listed as pet friendly are not. So search filter are apparently worthless on sites like AirB&B, et al.
I know there are many pet friendly accommodation places this surprised me given the nature of the country, I just thought there might be a site.

He, is a dog and doesn't go to restaurants and only the dog friendly malls.

You could contact real estate agents and explain to them what are you looking for (house/apartment that will accept a dog). I am sure they will find you something very quickly and arrange meeting and visiting the place for viewing.

If it is for hotels then go to tripadvisor, search for hotels in the city you want. Then look at amenities on the left hand side and click the small arrow to bring up the full menu. There is an option there for "Pets Allowed".
I'm presuming that the hotels have registered this option with tripadvisor but you probably also want to double confirm with them directly after.

I checked for Jakarta and Fraser residence and a couple of small hotels allow pets.
