Seems like a sudden rise in corruption cases and a general clampdown. I know part of this is due to the increase in "citizen investigations" and online shaming through social media but part of me also wonders if this is just standard practice in the buildup to an election. Helps popularity and...
Do you also have an Indonesian passport? If so then exit on that one going to Singapore or somewhere else. Then buy a seperate ticket from that destination back to the US.
Either that (and if no indo passport) then you have a big fine coming. I suppose you could just get deported but then...
You think it comes as a surprise to them?
Also im obviously against corruption but how can a mid level government employee only have a salary of 4 juta per month? The system is broken
I feel that with drone (and presumably underwater drone) technology improving so much that this is a short sighted expense and that by the time these have been delivered they will be as effective as the outdated russian tanks are in Ukraine.
I think this is being a bit dramatic. Are you suggesting a government bank in Indonesia will "nick" your money? Thats rediculous.
Also if its put into some kind of long term investment program within the bank, it could be worth quite a bit more in 10 to 15 years, providing that there is not...

Ha...I just went from this thread to the car thread where a chinese company is launching near identical copies of Japanese brands. Maybe China can still invent products but they have a tendancy now to just copy others and have zero respect for IP. This has happened in nearly every industry...
Also i forget which one but i had trouble with them reading my id for one of them. Customer service told me to just use an Indonesian friends id......i did it then changed the name back after. Doesnt seem that secure to me.
Well it was tongue in cheek and I did add "first post". In reality the idea of no links untill a few minimum posts is good but could deter real people advertising usefull things.
As for the other comments: I'm sure at some point the central Banks will have their own version of crypto...
Well maybe i will wait and see if this guy ever posts again but to me it seems 98% of posts on crypto are spam promoting something dodgy. Of all the topics on this site to chose the first and only post.....why crypto.
