    Unlimited KITAP

Was the ITAP you got in 2011 the "unlimited" one? If I remember correctly, "unlimited" ITAP is not yet available at that time.

    Any good pork in Jakarta?

If only Putin knew Indonesia is importing pork from Europe (Denmark and Spain), there could be Russian pork too.

    Any good pork in Jakarta?

I'm surprised Indonesia imported pork from many countries (you mentioned US, Spain, Denmark, and Japan). Indonesia is exporting pork to Singapore from Batam or Riau where Salim Group has a large pig farm.

Indonesia set to introduce strict new law banning sex outside of marriage

I don't think this will ever happen in Bali, regardless, tourists don't bring their marriage certificate traveling abroad, so how to prove they are husband and wife?

    Unlimited KITAP

Up to 10 years means you can only extend once, not twice. That's bad, but we will only know for sure when the time comes to report for the 2nd time (or the tenth year after the first KITAP Unlimited was issued).

    Digitalizing Indonesian Government

It's a never-ending vicious cycle, they pay upfront and try to recover it later.

    Digitalizing Indonesian Government

As the title of this thread is 'Digitalizing Indonesian Government'... Behind those digitalization are humans, without them accepting or approving, applications get rejected. A businessman was so frustrated that he wrote to Media Konsumen to complain about government services. He was willing...

New vs Used Car Buying Experience

That means, oil change every 5,000 KM as per Suzuki service manual. For me, I always insist on oil change every 10,000 KM, not because of cost but time/effort and saving the environment (not wasting the oil when it is still good). By the way, after almost 30 years, did you ever had the need...

    EV in Indonesia

I have kgs of old phone battery at home (from phones with user-replaceable batteries) which I cannot conscientiously dispose for garbage collection (due to safety concern). A phone seller once told me to just bury it in my backyard. Obviously, he doesn't want to take it too.

I always wonder if it is NOW safe to eat foods grown in Vietnam. You know, Agent Orange. Is it still affecting people (the newborns) after so many years?

    Sorry Kids in America!

How can the US be part of the axis of good when they are helping in the genocide and starvation of 2 million Palestinians?

New 3rd Revision of the Immigration Law

Indonesia is generally "gun free", foreigners cannot get license for firearms. Batons or stun guns should be sufficient for law enforcement. If situation is dangerous, they can ask for police escort, just my opinion. Hope they get proper firearms training, and not become trigger-happy later.

A problem with a healthcare insurance company

To those unemployed, the top cost is Rp150,000. But to those employed, the top cost is Rp600,000. All goes to the same pool of funds for the benefit of you and me.

A problem with a healthcare insurance company

The Rp600,000 is for BPJS Kesehatan (which is what we are talking about here). "Retirement Savings" is on BPJS Ketenagakerjaan. Different department, separate office, each their own entity.
