Dear Forum

I got C317 Visa today but it said :

Foreign Nationals with Electronic Limited Stay Permit Visa are required to register at a local Immigration Office, without leaving Indonesian territory, maximum 30 days after the e-visa is issued;

The visa expiry is in Sep 2021 and Issued today.
Duration of stay is 12 months max.

So I am confused do I need to go before 30 days from today?

Visa expiry means you have until that day to use it or have to reapply new one

You used it today. So 30 days starts today. Inclusive.

No I have not used it today, I wanted to travel on 1st July. So that mean if i travel on 1st July I have 30 days after entering Indonesia?

My E-visa approved today and got it in email today, We haven't traveled yet.

Which is it?
Make your mind up
Where are you ?
You said you applied and it was issued today

You must enter Indonesia within 90 days of visa approval (Sept. 4) or the visa will expire. Once you enter, you must report to your local immigration office within 30 days. It has been this way for years, nothing new.

Your "reporting to local immigration" is more than just a formality. It's the KITAS process you have to undergo for conversion of the entry-visa (VITAS) to the actual residence stay permit (KITAS). Includes payment for KITAS and MERP/multiple-entry re-entry permit, fingerprints, photos, some forms and documents etc.

Your KITAS issuance date will normally be your entry date into Indonesia. Validity 12 months from entry into Indonesia.
