Urgently Required: Lecturer in Surabaya

Jakarta International College which provides pathway programs to International Universities: Monash University - Australia and Western Michigan University - USA, requires additional Expatriate* lecturers for Surabaya Campus.

Requirements:
- Able to teach one of the following subjects: Marketing, Mathematics or General Education subjects for US Syllabus
- Possess at least a Master's degree from a reputable overseas university
- Possess a teaching certificate and/or have at least 3 years of full-time teaching experience in a tertiary environment
- Fluent in written and oral English

*KITAS holders are preferred. In case the candidate does not have one, we will provide assistance to apply for KITAS (Indonesian work permit).

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Could you please clarify whether this position is for WNI or expats or both, and in the case of expats, whether you will be providing proper work permits, etc.

KITAS is an immigration document, not a work permit.

IMTA is the work permit.

But usually a KITAS is tied to an IMTA (technically the other way around) but this means a KITAS holder is tied to one job and working for another is a violation if their work permit and KITAS.

Or they could find an English native speaker WNI like me - but I have a nice job
