Tourists from France were deported to their country of origin after causing trouble for wearing sandals when entering the mosque due to protests from the noisy residents who were reciting the Koran or being recited. The foreign tourist with the initials ER was deported from Mataram, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

The foreign tourist is also said to have put his sandals up and then into the mosque because he did not accept the loud noise of the recitation.

"He also ask the source of the sound which he considered to be noisy and disturbing his nap,"

Make me chuckles. These tourists might not understand that they are currently in Mataram, Lombok, not in France. I believe they might have learnt the hard lesson.

This version gives more details - his wife is Indonesian and he was staying in their house (she stayed in France). So this outburst has him blacklisted for who knows how long:

Ngamuk is one thing, but I saw a post in jakarta expat's facebook group deleted (possibly) by its own poster after just an innocent question of asking for apartment recommendation. Poster simply asked which apartment that might be safe from the mosque noise and/or loud live music, only to be answered 'if you disrespect our religion don't stay in this country'. I was gonna respond with 'sabar pak...it was a legit question' but I thought better and realize my energy is better spent elsewhere.

Poor poster. I feel sorry for her.

The whole point of the Azzan is that everyone hears it, even in the rice fields, like a church on Sunday in UK at 11a.m ringing the bells.
There is no where really where you cannot NOT hear it, some are louder and more obvious, but you get used to it, like the bastard at 3a.m banging the street light shouting Sahur to wake me up just to eat and then go back to sleep - why not do it at 6, then I can wake up, eat breakfast and go straight to work? What's the point to wake me at 3 and then go back to sleep for 90mins

BTW ITS A JOKE

But I find the squeaks of the mice and rats or the cats meaowing like a baby more annoying

You just get used to it, like floods in Kemang "oh no I love living here, it's such a cool place, what traffic?" Or even the beeep of the car horns

If you move to Asia or especially here, these are things you get used to AND ACCEPT

Like moving to London and getting mugged or stabbed in broad daylight in the middle of Oxford Street for your fake Rolex

Wonder if it is the one I frequent, but sometimes you get people that ask such stupid random questions it makes you wonder how they made it so far in life, also there is google or actual websites.
I mean "which hotel should I stay in"
2 days ago a woman asked "where can I get my eyebrows done" like there aren't 258 malls in Jakarta each with 17 salons and spas and specialist eyebrow places and she didn't even say where she was or her budget or how big her apartment is or if she likes tango dancing

Then when I gave her an actual factual useful answer, some bule bloke called me a wanker for helping her and said yeh typical trust you to know the answer you wanker

I said whats the harm being well groomed? Anyway I cried, pretended to be offended, and got him banned. I said nothing wrong with masturbation, feel free to call me a wanker, but since I am udah sunat you cannot say I am a complete prick

I think the question was still pretty legit imo since question was pretty specific (not like google would clearly mention the proximity to mosque, etc). Sometimes yeah you do get seemingly repetitious/troll-ish questions...but there are equally less-than-smart answers that makes you wonder if they even read the question....(I had asked for 'recommendation for restaurants with wine in the North and somebody would respond with 'good resto in Pondok Indah' or one of my favorites was a poster asked about a recommendation (forgot what it was), and a local answered "There are many in that area".

In any case, no harm done on my part.

What I mean is they never provide helpful info like area budget nationality etc

Hey I've just moved to New York. Where's a good deli?

Do I need a visa for Egypt?

Where is a nice place to live in London?

Well only eyebrows. You could even get a designer P in Indonesia :ROFLMAO: as long as you are willing to pay.

With Indonesian doctors' good reputation, you can wake up with a d*ck after the procedure.
Well, it could be. But it might also end up like this. :ROFLMAO:
Could anyone help this guy with his request ??

Just like the physical examination I got in Bangkok. While touching and squeezing my genitals she told me “don’t worry it‘s normal to get an erection with these examinations”. I replied with “I don’t have an erection!”. She said “no but I do”.

Bule Australia yang Ludahi Imam Masjid di Bandung Ditangkap, Disergap di Bandara

google translate:
He went on a rampage at the Al Muhajir Mosque, the Margahayu Raya Complex, Jalan Jupiter Barat, Bandung City.

Apart from going berserk, the male foreigner also spat at one of the imams at the mosque.

The incident was also recorded on the mosque's CCTV camera which occurred on Friday (28/4) at around 06.00 WIB.

The DKM administrator at Al Muhajir Mosque who is also imam Muhammad Basri Anwar said the incident was triggered because the foreigner was disturbed by the murottal sound playing from inside the mosque.

oops! maaf - it was already posted in another thread.
