I know that there's another thread dedicated to corruption in Indo , but this one required its own thread:

The Sad Decline of Indonesia’s Anti-Graft Watchdog

The chairman of Indonesia's Corruption Eradication Commission, Firli Bahuri, is under investigation by the police on suspicion of blackmailing officials. 🤡

Apparently, it’s just the latest scandal among several others including extortion, sexual harassment, and embezzlement involving KPK employees.

Firly Bahuri is now already the suspect for alleged extortion.

These individuals are expected to serve as the foundational pillars in the justice system or protect the assets of the country, it is astonishing what they have done instead.:

The present head of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), Firly Bahuri, is currently being investigated for alleged involvement in extortion. Additionally, it should be noted that he previously served in the police force and held the rank of Police Lieutenant General before his current position.

The chairman of the constitutional court has been dismissed from their position.

Several judges from the supreme court have been convicted of corruption.

Some high-ranking police officials have been sentenced for their involvement in serious criminal activities and corruption.

Customs official who supposed to collect tax and revenue for the countries. Instead the money is going to their own pockets.
