USD2000 per year is a good price, those houses used to be closer to USD4000/month.
Although those mosques are so so loud (one on either side of the complex) it's very difficult to sleep there.

In my opinion, USD 2,000 per year is a very good price, especially for foreigners who do not have a lot of other alternatives.

Now, compare that to this USD 5,000 per month. Yes, you read that right, five thousand U.S. dollars per month for a place in the Cipete area (not very central), in a country where people who spend of over Rp2m+ pm are already considered as middle class income.:LOL::LOL::LOL:

I just noticed that this person has several overpriced properties listed for rent. I wonder whether s/he’s actually the owner or just a middleman making a profit by marking up the price. In Indonesia, it’s quite common for property owners to let multiple agents market their properties however they like, as long as the owners get the amount they’re asking for. Indonesian citizens also do not require a license to market another person’s property and marking up the price and/or getting commission. Any adult Indonesian can do so if they wish, as long as they have an internal agreement with the property owner.

I wonder if this person has found a tenant and the tenant there is actually paying out of his own pocket, or if the rent is being covered by their companies.

Hi everyone, I’d like to sincerely apologize for the confusion — the rental listing was incorrectly posted. The correct price is USD 2,000 per month, not per year. That was a genuine mistake on my part.

And yes, to clarify, I am the owner of the property, not an agent or middleman. Thank you for pointing this out and for your understanding

I do, however, work with an agent who recently helped post a listing with a video and photo reference for better visibility.
You can check it out here: IG Post 1 & IG Post 2 .

Thank you!
