I am bored,
I thought I would share some pictures from my life here over the years & encourage you to do the same , let's make a fun/pretty picture gallery.

Borobudur hotel in Jakarta- an oasis amongst the chaos of the city.
Night skies over the city taken from my garden
A visitor to the garden, bravely crossing the floor - dogs must have been fast asleep.

An atlas moth decided it wanted to have a snooze on my arm as I typed.

They look lovely. I've enjoyed traveling to Bogor and Bandung and Jogja before lockdowns / muhdik actually for the nature, peace of mind and fresh air. It served as a brief respite from craphole Jakarta, the worst city in Indonesia.

Changing a lightbulb.jpg

Hubby is odd to say the least... he likes snoozing in odd positions & places, he is ALWAYS cold & he is too short to change a lightbulb in our house so instead of going the 'normal' way & using a ladder he thinks outside the box.

Most welcome, I am just fed up of all the whingeing , whining and negativity.
I am also fed up seeing/reading/listening to: Covid/Vaccines/internet taught epidemiologists/ people bitching about/attacking other people etc.etc. etcetera

Also, I am no pro photographer, mostly these were just snapped with my phone camera or my Canon thingy.
So please peeps post your snaps too, don't feel you have to be artsy fartsy with all tech equipment to share parts of your life in pictures...
I have tons more that I fully intend to bore you all with in a bit.

This street dog had a litter of 9 pups and then was keeping them in the enclosed part of the drain immediately outside our gate. As you can see she was trying to feed them with just her own milk as she began wasting away. So I began putting food for the pups. Each of the pups were quite different and you would not think they could be from the same litter.

The mother on profile. She chased away all other street dogs from the immediate area.

The pups came for the food but didn't trust me and barked at the hand that fed them.

There were 5 males. Four of which were taken by people from the area. The one on the right was taken by an Italian lady but then returned home. She had named this pup Milo and it used to bark at me but then had again to rely on me for food. Later the woman came back and Milo now lives some miles away. For a few days the other pups seemed a bit depressed.

The dopey one on the left I call Drongo. The other is "black dog" and there is a sister with a white tipped tail. chest and paws. White tip would try stop black dog from eating so I had to put separate bowls and stand between them.

We have not taken the dogs into our house as "our" dogs so they remain street dogs but now they are fed also by three other households. So we can go away without worrying about them starving.
White tip is the most friendly now. Drongo likes to have his chest rubbed. I regard the food as wages for them acting as jaga.
