Recommendation for an island close to Jakarta for 3 nights please!

We have to go to Jakarta to the embassy next week and we are thinking about to spend maybe three days in some island close to Jakarta.
Please do you have any recommendation of an island or hotel?

Pulau Macan was always my favourite island - far out and no rubbish. Nice beach. The whole island is the resort. There is no AC and the rooms are open air so its not for everyone (if you are scared of lizards/ bugs dont go).
It has changed ownership since I was there so I dont know if that has impacted the service.

If you find you have to stay in Jakarta- I would suggest the Borobudur hotel- it has lovely lush gardens that almost blot out the city sounds & the food is decent there too.

I check the hotel and looks really beautiful, but the cheapest price is 2.500.000 rp per a person, if we go the three of us it is too much, but thanks for the advice!

From memory the price includes the private fast boat transfer and all food/ drinks (not including alcohol) during the stay so its not as bad as it seems upfront.

I’ve heard that the island of Java has some nice hotels.
