No package delivery to Indonesia

If it is just vitamin, not patented drugs, I will try to find the substitute from other brands. It has been too long the drug industries in the US try to fool people thinking that it is only their brands could provide the remedial effect needed.
Vitamin is vitamin they have the same active ingredients. Vitamin A in one country can not become Vitamin AZ in another country if you buy it from official outlets such as you get it from the doctors, pharmacies, big drug stores, and not from the street.
No it's definitely not a drug it's vitamins for men. PM I can send you the link. I brought some with me from the U.S and I really like it but I ran out and as I said they won't ship to Indonesia.

You created two threads for the same question. That is heavily frowned upon. One question = one thread.
That was by accident. I created it then left for a bit and forgot about it and created it again. Sorry about that.

I never heard that. Why is that? I brought some with me 2 months ago on a plane from USA in checked baggage of course. So what is the issue with vitamins and perfume?

My forwarder won’t deal with a bottle of vits I’m afraid. Like I said it will be cheaper to handle it all yourself. If DHL or FedEx is too expensive I’m positive a reputable forwarder would be atleast 50-100% more. Tax is tax, that’s based of the HS number that the forwarder or door2door logistic firm are not in control of.

I’ve never had an issue with customs mentioned on here. Mistakes on our end have led to costly solutions, but these were traced back to problems on the BL, packing list, invoice and, or purchase order. Perhaps just lucky but we do have a team and make sure the vendor uses the correct HS number. You can check it on the Lembaga National Single Window.

Generally speaking, items illegal in Indonesia and /or fine& duties not paid will be held for 3 months before auctioned off.

Vitamin supplements is not allowed I think and also very dangerous. You need all the paperwork listing the ingredients etc. And are you sure they are all legal here?
Plenty of supplements available here even US brands like Blackmores, California Gold etc etc

I would never ever risk bringing in any medicines drugs pills etc to a country as strict as Indonesia. Even Poppy seeds can get you put in jail

Yes, you need to be careful with Poppy.

Btw, if you’re coming from HK and you’re used to the multitude of the natural herbs and medicine shops etc; there are quite many in Glodok and Kota, the local ‘Chinatown’

Any more info. re: bringing vitamin supplements to Indo?

Thanks.
Last month my wife actually found the exact same vitamins on Tokopedia and ordered them for me and they arrived the next day. I am so glad I didn't purchase from the US. The price was the same as if I had them shipped from the US so it was worth it to me.

I have brought back Costco's Kirkland brand Mature Multivitamin & Super B-Complex every time I have gone to USA. It is hard to imagine that either of these items contains anything banned by RI. Furthermore, both are available (at a huge markup) on Tokped through various merchants.

Brining in my suitcases, I never had a problem. However, having it shipped was a completely different story as basically customs wanted money and they claimed I was trying to sell them.

Just make sure it isn't CBD.

I'm still curious about possible restrictions on bringing vitamin supplements with me...I can't seem to find a definitive list or explanation about such restrictions (if any!).

I found a few lists, such as this one from FedEx , but otherwise it's only a comment on Facebook or on this forum.

"Personal importation of cell phones, laptops, and tablet computer is prohibited", meaning what?
Sentences like this will cause confusion?

It is prohibited to import cell phones laptops and tablet computers

What's confusing?

The FedEx list provides information on what you can ship to indonesia, but if you bring your own things, different rules may apply.
I've never had problems with (multi)vitamins in my suitcase, but sending over a kilo of creatine (nutritional supplement) was a problem.
Once some sweeteners for coffee were confiscated and removed from the shipment for further inspection in surabaya. The pills turned blue on the x-ray, a sign of drugs, said the officer.

The word "personal" ...
One can either include or omit the word "personal" with each sentence in the bulleted list.

But it's talking about importing.
Not carrying through customs in your suitcase
