Can I contact you?

Your customers reads like a group that doesn't care much about price.

Looks like that site is dead now, which is weird considering the customers named. For what it's worth, Three Movers is a good option too and one that's still in business (as far as I know). They're based out of the US but they work internationally and have offices, storage, etc. everywhere they're located.

I used Three Movers so long ago that my comments may be irrelevant (it was probably in 2008 or so, I forget exactly when) but they were incredibly awesome and reliable. Long story short, they made a miscalculation over shipment timing (hey, it happens - we're all human, and the circumstances were complicated), but they took full responsibility - they were totally transparent about their mistake and covered 100% of the extra cost that the mistake created. Truly awesome customer service. I would use them again without hesitation.

SRT is part of the Ritra Logistics group and you should find a link to them on the Ritra website.

I've used a couple of times subsidiaries of Ritra for domestic container shipment and they were OK both in terms of services and price (though that had to be negotiated).

I'm intrigued by the self storage industry, specifically because it's so close to the business I currently operate. In the future I may buy one! I own a moving company that provides loading/unloading services only. We did 500 jobs our first year and 25% or more of those jobs involve storage facilities. I would love to hear your feedback on any type of relationship you have had with moving companies, was there a referral commission involved, and any other thoughts you have whether supporting the idea or not. I am creating a plan on how best to serve the storage facilities that we do work at and how we can mutually benefit. Currently, customers hire us on their own so we don't actually have any relationship with the storage facility. Thanks!

I hired several moving companies in my home country (The Netherlands) during my life back then. Also, when I moved here to Indonesia I hired a moving company. Cost me an arm and a leg.
I might hire one again next year, to move furniture from one place (Cikupa) to another (Jakarta). My concern will be as follow.

Do moving companies bring their own cardboard boxes, bubble wraps and blankets to pack your stuff? Or do I have to buy boxes and bubble wraps and pack my stuff by myself?

the big ones defintiely bring their own stuff. They wouldnt trust anyone else to package it.
I think thats the difference between a moving company and just a freight company.

I see .. once again "nobody trust anybody" here. Then they insist probably also to make a list of items that I have to sign for.

Not sure where this is coming from - as this is the same service worldwide.
A professional moving company is responsible for safely packaging and moving your valuable property. They use the correct packaging and wrapping to ensure its safety. Thats their job.

I packed my whole household belongings myself in Holland. The international Dutch moving company then shipped this container to Jakarta.

Will you elaborate which moving companies are they and which one handle it the best? We will move back to Indonesia in 2-5 years.

I can and I will. I have a lot tips and advice. Will send you a DM soon. Where are you moving from?

Yes they bring their own bubble wrap boxes and itemise everything. It's not a man and a box truck. It's a whole crew. Everything is wrapped individually and put into boxes and labelled and an inventory etc then into a truck and sealed and signed for

We are returning to Indonesia; all arranged by my company through Sirva relocation and moving service. Packing for sea freight completed 2 weeks ago - everything done by their local partner here. We're entitled for 40' container but I think we only use half as we sold all teak furniture brought from Indonesia here.
Yes, everything is wrapped individually (delicate and fragile items are bubble wrapped) and put into boxes (almost 200 boxes, thousands items ) and labelled and an inventory etc then into a truck and sealed and signed for.

The packing list shall be stamped by Indonesia embassy for import duty waiver. Custom clearance shall be done within 3 moths since our arrival; otherwise will be dutiable.

In Indonesia, their partner Allied express will clear, deliver, unpack and place to our specified location.
So far so good, we receive the update of vessel location and estimated arrival in Indonesia.
Today, they are packing our unaccompanied air freight, my road bikes, sport equipment and desktop PC; so we can travel light to Turkiye for holidays before arriving in Jakarta.

This is the 5th time since we move from Indonesia almost 20 years ago. No major issues. Few small items were broken or lost (very likely during custom inspection), We claimed and paid by the insurance company.

I packed up an apartment for a recently deceased friend last week using Asian Tigers. They were incredibly helpful and kind (considering the circumstances). The packing crew were amazing. I can't comment on the logistics re getting the items out of Indo and into to friends home country to their family because I wont be involved in that side of things. But I will certainly go to them if/ when I'm relocating in the future.
