Mosquito fogger Insecticide

Hi Forum Members,

I recently purchased a portable butane mosquito fogger machine from the local Ace Hardware. I also purchased a water based fogging liquid and K-Othrine insecticide made from Bayer. Both items need to be mixed accordingly.

However after fogging my garden for 10 minutes, the mosquitos temporary disappear for an hour and they all come back to my garden. The mosquitos are not killed and frustrating to have mosquitos in my garden. Please note I do not staggering water in my garden.

I appreciate if someone can advise where and which good insecticide to kill mosquitos in my garden with a fogging machine. Btw, I live near JIS or south Jakarta. Thanks in advance.

Best!

Sadly, if you kill all the mosquito in your garden, your next door neighbours will move in, it's an everlasting battle, as soon as you have an empty garden, they are back, I would think one of those smelly coils would do a better job at repeling them, you can spray as much as you like, but they will return, probably more irritating than before

Agreed with the above. Fogging doesn't seem to have any lasting effect. Previously if I desperately need to clear the damn things, I would offer my neighbors to spray their yards also. Then at least it lasts up to a week before the infestation returns.

Aside from screening off the entire garden area and spraying periodically within the enclosure, I along with my fellows above, would not expect more than a temporary respite from your fogging efforts.

Note to those moving to new houses. When you move in buy your new neighbour a blue light bug light as a hello gift.

Did you ever sort it out or did you just retreat indoors?
I decided to use can spray which is more effective. Setting up the fogger and mixing the insecticide is a drag. I fog once a month just to make me feel better that I used my fogger. Consciously think I have killed the mosquitoes in my garden. Life goes on...
