Can someone please help me figure this out? Long story short, my MERP has expired in Nov 2024 while my KITAP is still valid until June 2026. I also have a new passport issued while I was outside of Indonesia as it has expired this year, so the passport number on the KITAP won't match with the new one. Although I don't intend to renew my KITAP, I'd still like to visit Indonesia this year. Sponsor for my old KITAP was my current spouse (separated).
Questions:
1) What happens if I just show up at the airport and apply for Visa on Arrival (VoA) ? Will my KITAP be voided?
2) Will I still need to apply for EPO (exit permit) outside of Indonesia when exiting (if I could get in with VoA)?
