Kitap in case of divorce

I actually meant the husband you divorced. What are the criteria for the sponsor?
The sponsor has to be Indonesian citizen, that is the only criteria, subject that he/she is declared eligible to be a sponsor by the Immigration (meaning has financial means-not a sate seller or driver for example).

I wonder what criteria there are for financial means? Have to show a certain amount in bank account?
I guess the person you divorced can still be your sponsor if they agree, however it would no longer be a "spouse" kitap. Maybe you can just get kitas, 1 year?

I think the immigration officers have a lot of "discretion" on what is acceptable to be a sponsor for everything except a "spouse" visa. I do remember some talk about clamping down on agents as sponsors as well. My question is what would your KITAS be based on if you don't have a spouse? After 10 years it shouldn't matter but the OP isn't there yet.

An agent as sponsor for Kitas or Kitap is also an option, even normal. My agent was my sponsor for my first Kitas-retirement. I think it was even a requirement (as the format in the visa system would not except any other sponsor, as I remember).

An agent is the required sponsor for a Retirement Visa. That I believe is the only visa that requires that.

Since on KITAP, Immigration can approve another sponsor until the end of KTAP if married mote than 2 years but less than 10. Then they would be required to leave unless become eligible for a new visa. If married over 10 years the KITAP holder, with Indonesian sponsor is then eligible to continue their KITAP indefinitely.

One just needs to keep in mind that all Immigration offices seem to interpret the regulations differently so always take a copy of it with you and politely show them it if need be explaining what you interpret it to say.

Thank you very much for the answers. That doesn't sound so hopeless. The problem is what happens
1.if my husband takes away his spondirship before I am officially divorced. Does that also work with new sponsor?
2.Or if he not make the sign for the multiple entry. Which I need in may?
Thank you advanced
