I spoke to an agent last night regarding my KITAP renewal, normally I would do it myself, but as I want to fly into Jakarta and have it finished in less than two weeks I checked with an agent. His first quote was for 20,000,000 which included the 10,000,000 payment for renewal and the 1,750,000 2 year MERP. I negotiated him down on his fee, but I'm still willing to pay him more than I normally would if he can get it done in less than two weeks as the extra cost is worth it to me because of my time constraints. I still have 6 months before mine expires, but I'm having him do some "pre-work" now to make sure he has everything in order for a quick turnaround. He told me the normal process in Jakarta would be 3 to 4 weeks. I think if you didn't need him to rush you could get his fee down to a few million. I questioned him at length regarding the process, without telling him I already knew the process and the cost, and he was very knowledgeable in regard to the process and correct with the fees.
