I wonder if any of our forum members have been impacted by these devastating floods?

My 40-minute ride home from work took 2 hours last night. I legitimately feared that my e-bike would break down while going through almost knee-deep water. After I got past that section, the road was higher up and unflooded... until about 100 meters later where the water was probably mid-thigh level, so I detoured. I managed to get home without too much trouble after that.

Oh, but we are not finished yet. This morning, I carefully chose a less-flooded route (no such thing as an unflooded route), but noticed that my watch was going nuts with WA messages. About 2/3 of my way to school, the motorcyclists were telling everyone to turn around. I paused to scroll through messages, and for the first time since 2013ish, my school was closed due to flooding.

we routinely monitor our house in KW via CCTV as my disabled MIL lives there only accompanied by a part-time maid. It seems that our garage and garden are always dry.

Two relatives in Bekasi both have considerable flooding inside their houses. It’s gotten worse the last 6-7 years. They say because there is less green areas to absorb water. It was a 1.5 meter tall river in the street.

My wife’s cousin went back this afternoon to help his mom out. He couldn’t take a shuttle from Bandung, as the stations are flooded in Bekasi. Had to take the train. Only 2 other passengers in his car.
