ITAS hase been extended and stamped but I havent get any email for my KITAS

Hey everyone, first time in this forum and ill just go straight to the point as what the title have said I have extended my ITAS a few months ago and usually I get a notification about "Notifikasi Persetujuan Pemberian ITAS" in my gmail but as of now I havent gotten it, now my problem is ill be going out in Indonesia by a few weeks and will come back again and my question is it mandatory to have the KITAS with you when going to and fro in Indonesia or the stamped ITAS in my passport is good enough?

Don't forget to get a MERP stamp. Without that your Itas would be invalid to re-enter the county.

Oh I see i didnt know that since i thought what i only need is my ITAS since it said here in my stamp limited stay and re-entry. Thanks for the headsup! Also do i need my ITAS printed out? I havent any notification from the Imigration about my KITAS so im worried about that.

As far as I know .. with a KITAS there is no MERP-stamp in one's passport. Merp is already included.

Only with KITAP (5 year) a MERP-stamp in one's passport will be given.

For peace of mind I think you might check this at an immigration office. If you left without MERP you would have to start from scratch again. It is a two year multiple exit and return permit which is not compulsory if you were staying and not planning to travel. And my apologies. I got Kitap after one year with the MERP stamp in the passport.

I talked with a person today, and they said a QR code on the ETAS was the MERP stamp. Which I have. If possible, could someone please show what a MERP stamp looks like? Then I can compare what I have, to see if it's correct? Thanks!

This stamp is all I have also, and not the re-entry permit! Does this mean I don't have the proper stamp?

That barcode is the new form of MERP I have the same thing on my passport. Been using that for a long time with no issues.

What visa is your vitas or eitas ,
Curious you don't want kitas card for tax number
Or kitas and tax number two separate items to apply based on your entry visa itas

Retirement kitas don't need tax id but work kitas need tax id

Ah my visa if for family visit since half of my relatives are indonesian and also taking my college here. Usually i get my kitas card after extending it through my email but as of now i havent got any notification for kitas card. i had plans to go through to the office but last week and this week was exams so i didnt have time.

You can get unlimited kitas every year extension or any limit

If you already have that barcode with the updated expiration/due date then yes. The stamp is just a small one at the corner of that barcode sticker with a signature of the Dept. Head (I checked mine just now)

sorry for the late reply but no im half indo and grew to the other half (haha) so i have a foreign passport as for the visa name its a Temporary Stay permit hope that answer your questions

Hmmm just check the stamp or barcode in your passport. If the date is already passed or close to expiring and your agent has not mentioned anything about the new MERP make sure your passport got one. Applying MERP and ITAS although sometimes are done simultaneously, they are two different things. MERP is your permit to exit and reenter the country and the ITAS is the temporary stay permit. Some people extend their KITAS without extending their merp (to save money and/or to do it before they leave for vacation, etc)...some do.

Agents usually offer to always do both at the same time (more money for them).
