I have heard a few stories about human Trafficking in Myanmar, but I just ignored it, as it might be just a make up stories. But this news comes from a reputable source, KompasTV. They do not just publish article if they have not done some level of verification according to Journalism code of conduct. Doing some level of verifications do not mean the news is 100% accurate but it is certainly better than unverified articles as at least there are some elements that have been crossed checked

20 Indonesian Citizens Kept in Myanmar, Victim's Mother: My Last Communication Was 8 Days Ago

https://www.kompas.tv/article/40301...ngan-orang-di-myanmar-keluarga-mereka-disekap 20 Indonesians allegedly victims of trafficking people in Myanmar the family are held in captivity.

There are quite a few unverified articles about traficcking in Myanmar where a group of people are holding people in captivity waiting for their organs to be removed and sold in the black market, dark web. There is not much money to be made making a made up story, so there is no good reason to make the news like this going viral other than a reminder to other people to become the next victim. Initially I hardly believe this types of stories but given the amount of published articles about this including reputable channels, news I am starting to think otherwise. Does anyone have any verified infos regarding this human trafficking in Myanmar coming from reputable sources?? Indonesia has an influence in South East Asia, so could do something about it.

If you go to Google and type in "human trafficking in Myanmar" you will get 1,635,735 links and articles

If you also type "how to assassinate POTUS" you will get your door smashed down in 4 minutes and 11 seconds

These are other videos from Metro TV and Kompas TV with the voice recording from the victim and video from family from the victim explaining what she knows.

Another newly published news, interview regarding the trafficked Indonesian Citizen in Myanmar.

They could only be released back to Indonesia if they could get other 3-5 people own family, friends or relative to barter. This criminal gang is boasting that even Indonesian President, Indonesian Army can not save them. It is really an insult to the Indonesian government and military. Myanmar government makes an accuse can not access that region. This is where a special force rescue operation is needed. Those criminal gangs will need to be obliterated.

Cartels in Mexico have been know to do the same. They have someone and say 'pay us x amount'. If they know the person has gringo(bulr) friends, the price goes up. Don't pay, and you will probably never see them again or if you do, it might be body parts.

I have a feeling these people are going to do more to their victims than just removing organs and selling them. Remember Jeffery Epstein and his private island?

The problem in, human trafficking these crimminal gangs are well organized and run it like a business and likely have lots of connections. In reality, there is nothing governments, military, or police can do since they have a very small time window from the time*roughly 3 days) other than take down as many as these scumbags as they can when they get an opprotunity.

I read today that the 20 were rescued and being returned to Indonesia.

This is the news about their release after Indonesian government Intervention.
Earlier, "This criminal gang was boasting that even Indonesian President or Indonesian Army can not save them".

The article is also available in here. Indonesian but use google translate

This is the route the Indonesian human organ's traders is using to traffic people from Indonesia to Cambodia, Myanmar for their kidney to be removed. It could be that this is a state sponsored or at least some officials in the Cambodian government are getting involved as the process of removing the kidney did happen in the state owned Hospital.

In my personal opinion the appropriate and meaningful punishment for all of these traffickers who still have a complete set of kidneys, is to auction their kidneys through an open auctioning. All of the detail of the processes involved are recorded that could be used as evidence when needed in the future. The bidders could only be the people who medically proven in need of kidney transplant, and could effort to pay the highest bid. All the money collected to be donated to charities aiming on preventing human trafficking, human organ's trading. In addition these criminals are required to donate their bloods for the rest of their life. As stated in the previous post, Indonesian policeman, immigration officers are among the gang members of these trafficker's .

...some officials in the Cambodian government are getting involved ...

Hun Sen and his family run a criminal organization.

In my personal opinion the appropriate and meaningful punishment for all of these traffickers ...

Methinks that you are too kind. My punishment for them would require a length of rope and a sturdy tree branch.

Suharto was the President of Indonesia from 1967 to 1998, for a total of 31 years. Hun Sen has been the Prime Minister of Cambodia since 1985, and he is still in office today, so he has been serving for 38 years and it is still counting. So Hun Sen' has been serving as the Prime Minister of Cambodia for longer than Suharto served as the President of Indonesia. It is the longest serving PM/president in Asia.

It is not good for a country to have Prime Minister/president for such as a long time. Their focus is now not on the country development but how to protect their empires, power, wealth while they are still alive. Otherwise they might be ending up in jail or worse to be sentenced to death once they lose the powergrip.

And setting up your children to succeed you. Suharto failed at this, looks so far like Hun Sen is succeeding.

So even death would not be the end sadly.

Some are successful majority do not. Hun Sen is preparing his son to take over the power.

Suharto failed, Robert Mugabe, Ferdinand Marcos trying to pass the power to his wife failed. But North Korea is a good example for a dynastic succession. The power to govern has been passed to a few generations.

and don't forget the current President of the Philippines is... Marcos Jr. With Duterte's daughter as VP

Another victim of Indonesian Human Trafficking. They were sent to the same country, Myammar.

The news about Indonesian human trafficking victims in Cambodia, Myanmar is likely just the tip of the iceberg, many more are believed to still be trapped in there. This is part of an ongoing and alarming issue.

Dangers of Working in Cambodia The Series: Indonesian Citizen Dies from Abuse in Cambodia
'Iwan' was found dead with numerous marks on his body, indicating he had been tortured. There is also growing evidence that human organ trafficking is taking place in Cambodia and Myanmar.

Each country approaches problems and priorities the well-being of its citizens differently. If this situation had occurred in 'Uncle Sam', they would have deployed elite forces like Delta Force or the Navy Seals to rescue and possibly destroy them. Notable examples include the rescue of Jessica Buchanan in Somalia and Philip Walton in Nigeria.

Indonesia may not be like 'Uncle Sam,' but it could certainly show more concern for its citizens. Human trafficking and organ trading have been going on for years, yet in Indonesia serious action is only taken once the issue goes viral on social media.

I visited Cambodia in the mid 90's. It was the Wild West...Not that I disliked it, but you had to be streetsmart and on your guard.
Nowadays they have put some lipstick on it for the tourists, but it is still a lawless and dangerous place.
I worked in Myanmar (Yangon) at the same period. Lovely people, but an horrible military junta. It looks like it is going more and more downhill...
But keep in mind that in both countries the Chinese mafia is involved in this stuff.
The Chinese government has recently done some high profile operation, arresting and rapatriating a bunch of Chinese gangster.
Thailand has cut electric supply and internet lines to some Myanmar regions as well.

But a LOT is still to be done.

Maybe somebody could suggest to Trump to invade both places ? The weather is much better than in Greenland !

I feel sorry for the People of Myanmar! Not only are they having to live under a Military Junta rule, but a Chinese Mafia as well!
Your suggestion of having Trump come in is a terrible idea! He is incapable of having Compassion, or caring, about anyone or anything, except Himself! 😢
