Ok since you are vague - who is this for, what country, what context etc

Income from a job? Working?

My income is from salary

Or if you are not working ahem cough cough

My income is interest and dividends from savings and investments (in another country?)


That is for regular income

For a one off lump sum it's

From proceeds of sale of house / car / assets / organs / loan repayment / lottery win / bank job / crypto coin sale

How do you write a source of income letter?

Write factually where your income comes from (salary, dividends etc.) and attach documents to back up what you are writitng (salary slips, investment account ststements egc.)
