How available are Paxil, Loxapine, Lunesta, Lamictal, Lisinopril and Lithium? How much do they cost? Also, how expensive is quality health insurance?

Don't know if this is a troll or real but Lunesta is a sleep medicine and highly regulated. It along with Ambein are available but not many doctors will prescribe. All of the others will fall under the umbrella for treatment of mental illness and will likely raise some flags. Mental problems do not get a lot of leeway in Asia unfortunately.. Will probably have to jump through a lot of hoops for these medicines.

Thanks for the broad overview - much appreciaed. Would specialty clinics in Jakarta be willing to prescribe? Alternatively, how feasible is to jaunt to Singapore every six months? Thanks again

It is very likely that only a mental health facility would provide the amounts of medicines that you are asking about. Very likely there will be no generics for these specific medicines available as well which means they won't be cheap. I know someone that takes Lamical for seizures and because of the dosage they need vs the strength they sell here it gets expensive quickly and no generic available. I will ask him the cost and then update you when I get an answer. As far as Singapore, it is an option but you would need to be careful about what medicines you bring in your bag. Maybe not a problem for most but I know Ambien and the like are supposed to be reported to customs.

Lisinopril is readily available just by requesting it from an Apotek who carries it.

Yes, I regularly get Lisinopril here, no problem. Of the 10 or so prescriptions I get in the US, only things like a weekly injectable for diabetes control, Trulicity, are really difficult. I see them listed on Tokopedia, but am unsure of authenticity.

They are all available with prescription. Many of these are psychiatric medications, so you will need a psychiatrist. I do not know the cost. If bringing them with you, you will need a prescription translated to Indonesian. You should have the quantity match your visa. There have been tourists arrested with the medications seized because they were flying over with many months supply for a visa on arrival. They were suspected of importation for distribution.
