Yes they are also native speakers
unfortunately the work permits to teach English legally in Indonesia are only issued for those from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand

This is a language school, usually optional after regular school hours and regionally located. The other job add was a professional school teacher's one.

Hmmmm, this rule was relaxed in 2012 and reflected in the relevant official documentation for formal schools, I do not know about language schools, so it may be worth checking. Regular schools can take native speakers, or non native speakers with a degree in English to work legally.

ETA - After a fuss, the department admitted that Irish and South Africans are also native speakers.

Having said that, every department and city interprets the regulations differently, so perhaps what they allow here in Jakarta is not allowed in Batam or Palembang.

I wonder if the school is having any success attracting candidates at $1,000/bulan.
