Finding permit status

I just received my E-ITAP and IMK, and tried to look it up on the Immigration website. It said I have it, but it was impossible to see my page. They went to a site that showed over a 1000 people applying for Bridging stay permits, or something like that, but up at the top it says search. So I put in my Name and the says no record found. Someone please tell me how to navigate their website, so I can see my page, with my ITAP information. They really need to make their website more efficient! Thanks.

When I tried to create an account they wanted me to upload a 4x6 photo , my passport biometrics page etc etc etc . Why do they assume everyone has a scanner or Zombie phone , I use an old nokia phone 'no internet' and a 15 year old laptop I can't get whatsapp/Instagram on because of insufficient RAM . Can't get a reply to an email or an answer to a phone call since Jember office went to there ridiculous Sibre Site . They constantly put up posts on facebook but never reply to a comment or message . The systems gotten worse rather than better with all this new technology . They'll be replacing all there staff with Al the way it's looking !!!!

Thanks for responding! What a mess! You'd think with all the young internet savvy youth, they'd have this already done. It's ridiculous you'd have to sign in, send photo, passport info, when they already have it! I don't understand why it's so broken. It reminds me of the local TV station in English. TVRI World. They repeat the same programs over and over for weeks! Very Unprofessional! I hope the AI put in place, works? I have my doubts! It seems the Mantra here is Jam Karet, and Tunggu Sebentar! What is going on? Is it the water, or climate, or maybe the Latitude, that creates this situation?
Maybe that's what I love about Indonesia?

2) Click at "SERVICES"
3) At "Stay Permit" , click at "Find Existing Stay Permit", a new page will show up for you to type the Permit number + passport number .

Immigration didn't upload all paper's data they have yet (maybe they will never do it) , so we need to upload some of our data ourselves .

I think it is more than worth having a smartphone (if you don't wan't to spend more than Rp1 million , I recommend a refurbished Xiaomi , Oppo , ..) . And as I said before , many toko photocopy have scanner to make pdf files for Rp1k to Rp5k each .

I have no problem in using Whatsapp, Instagram, .. with my old cheap Liva mini pc with only 2 GB RAM, with Linux Operating System (not Windows) .

I did this for an hour yesterday, and it says I have a permit, but it wont show me. In search I put in my name and it does nothing? I tried again today, and it does the same thing. I want to see the page with my photo, number, personal info, expiry date, Etc. It goes to Bridging permit site, with 1000 different entries, but no option for ITAP entries? Any more suggestions would be helpful. Thanks

That may be so in other situations, but this website doesn't open my ITAP information even after I put in my name, passport information, and date of birth. when It goes to find existing stay permit, it goes to Bridging permits, not ITAP stay permits?

I'm lucky to get a colored photo copy where I am let alone finding one with a scanner and the skill to create a pdf file . Do you use an Android Emulator ? I've tried bluestaks several times , it downloads very slowly then won't load wahatsapp through google play store . Keeps telling me I don't have sufficient RAM . I use windows 10 64 bit , with 4GB RAM which is supposed to be enough by the required system specs . Cheers .

This is so ridiculous, because you just have given them this information to get the ITAP! They have your photo and passport number! They really need to get a bright person that understands programming, and set up their website so it's easy to look up your ITAP, and IMK. Since If you went through all the steps, they have plenty of information about you. To get to this point a Person has been here for years, and has been giving them their information for Years! Duh!
A person should be able to open the site, type in their name or number and their full page should open, with photo, and expiration date, and everything the immigration will want to see, when you leave, come back, or get stopped while living here!
This is just a typical example of why Indonesia is a third world country, and always will be! But I like the country, and its people, so I'll just have to expect this lack of efficiency! I still am curious as to Why? Is it the Water, being so close to the Equator, eating mountains of GMO Monsanto rice, lack of imagination, and doing the same thing your parents did, that their parents did, and on and on?

In your own account you cannot request any Immigration process related to your sponsored ITAP .

For most of us it is not worth to buy a photocopy or scanner machine (so many cheap toko photocopy in Indonesia)

Sorry , it is a different situation in my case because I only use Whatsapp web application in a browser (because I already have the Whatsapp app in my Android smartphone) .
If you insist in not having a smartphone , I suggest you to buy a Chromebook laptop (you can download many Android apps directly from Google Play Store) .

My agent already sent me a page showing my full five year ITAP, and another showing my five year IMK on WhatsApp, with my photo. I tried to download them both to my photo library, but they wouldn't go there. I just want to know how, he was able to get a full print out of my ITAP, and IMK, with my photo. And do the same!
I don't want to open an account with immigration to do this, if I don't have to. If ever I travel and need to show I have a five year ITAP, and let's say I lost my phone. How am I supposed to show Immigration I have these documents?

You wrongly assumed that it was a flaw in the Immigration website .

Be informed that Immigration usually send the e-ITAS/e-ITAP/e-IMK/.. to the sponsor's email (in few cases to the sponsor's Whatsapp) , they are not available in that Immigration website , as far as I know .

Thank you for your information. It's just, I like to have copies of my visas, permits, etc, stored in more than one location, just in case, I lose, or something breaks, like my phone, iPad. I did get the full page with photo, and all information, from my agent, sent by WhatsApp. Whom I go see tomorrow to pick up my passport. Thanks

Another disadvantage of using an agent . The account would be in his name and you won't be able to access anything unless the agent gives you permission . I'd be demanding laminated copies of both or a PDF file by email .

Thanks, my agent sent via WhatsApp, pictures of my E-ITAP, and E-IMK. To me. So when I go pick up my passport tomorrow, I will inquire about getting laminates of both. This is how it all was until recently. Personally I like having the laminate to carry around everywhere I go. I do have a smart phone now, and carry that everywhere, but hey, I'm old school, and don't like to depend on machines to proof my identification wherever I go. Because of that, I only carry a photocopy of my passport with me. I do have a photo of it in my photo library also, but hey, you never know? What if you lose or break your phone? Your screwed!
And seeing how unprofessional the Immigration website is, I don't think it's a good idea to have everything online Only!
I just asked for the laminates to be ready by Tomorrow!
