Yeh the prices in that link are old and now is cheaper

I think mega kuningan is the best location, there are 2-4 ways in or out, it is effectively one block with 4 major roads on all sides so even with traffic there are back ways to get out onto satrio, rasuna, gatot, etc, you have multiple malls, restaurants, bars, offices etc and rents vary from tower to tower but for $1000 a month 15jt you can easily find a very very nice newly refurbished spacious 2-3 bed furnished apt there with a big pool, gym, tennis, facilities etc and decent housekeeping maintenance etc

No need to be paying $1000 a month more to have a lobby with a lion and a fountain and artsy music playing and lemon grass burning

12 hours a day - office
4 hours a day - bar
6 hours a day - sleeping
2 hours a day - staring at phone, shower head, toilet floor or TV

Also the irony of looking out your balcony window across to the poor schmuck paying $3,000 a month to sit in HIS apartment looking back at you in your boxers in your $1,000 apartment hahaha

When the king of KSA stayed in the Raffles I would rejoice when the worlds media descended to film him leaving and there in the background 20 floors up was me doing my yoga and star jumps in my sex pistols vest drinking a beer and waving at the king on live TV

I agree, Kuningan is a good area. Yesterday I had to go to Kemang and Kemang Village mall. Macet .. I don't understand why people want to live in that area.

They all secretly hate it too. Snakes and crocs when it floods. Traffic.
And then they come to Loewy and Basque and boast about living in Kemang the best night life lol

I know there is an ESL forum for an ESL teaching around the world. This forum is also used by many english teachers. Typically they post and discuss an ESL teaching job including work permit requirement. They have Indonesia in their sub forum

Another source to find teaching job in Indonesia is to join the facebook group "Indonesia Teaching Jobs"

I noticed they recently advertised two teaching jobs
