EV in Indonesia

If the "lifetime warranty" is on the LFP battery, then it's about 10 years (battery lifespan) or 4,000 cycle count.

Some people can be misled into thinking that "lifetime warranty" is forever as long as the car is road worthy.
4.000 cycle spans is around 40-50 years of driving.

I guess it depends how much you use the car. If it's just short distance everyday, then you only need to charge the car twice a week or 8 times a month or 100 times per year. So 4000 cycles = 40-50 years of driving is possible, but don't forget that batteries also degrade over time.

Boasting is a sign of deep insecurity, whether it is based on reality or fantasy. The really rich people can walk unnoticed down a street and nobody would know.
Indonesian has a good word: pamer.
I see .. Trump is one of them, I guess.

The lifetime guarantee is valid under condition of max 30.000km/year for Wuling

taxation DOES matter bc I'm a sovereign being and taxation is theft. I will never let the gov control my money. But it's a diff topic bc I LAWFULLY pay $0 😅

Own nothing, control everything,” John D. Rockefeller

I also don't like to go by "heart", it's anecdotal. I like to go by FACTS, why I asked the question, to gather data.

Cars are just transportation, to get u from point A to B. Not sure why you correlated it with looking rich? I'm not buying a lamborghini. It's also not hard to drive an EV, don't get intimidated by the "high tech" label on it. But I have never driven an EV in Indonesia, hence trying to rationalize the decision in the appropriate sub forum for car discussion.

is indicative of a perspective of life that misses the point that avoiding taxation is itself a kind of theft from ordinary people who pay taxes which provide water supply, defence and all those aspects of government service including the building of roads to drive around in higher priced luxury cars.

The Sovereign Citizen line has been used in Australia by people claiming they need not pay parking fines. This argument has been rejected by courts.

Currently, if you consider an EV in Indonesia, go for the Hyundai Ioniq 5 or 6.
Welcome back (again).

I see those Ioniqs everywhere but they are more than double the cost of my Kijang Innova and can't fit as many people in, so I don't really see the point.

Admin, please close this thread. I have gathered some valuable feedback from members who contributed positively. However, I don't need those soulless, broke, and jealous opinions. They don't matter. Why they stay broke.
You sure remind me of "Miss(whatever it was) Manors that used to post about her privileged wealth and life.

You'd think if someone was really wealthy, and had an amazing life, they would have better things to do than show off to, and insult, complete strangers on the internet. Or perhaps the messages were written from a trailer park resident with a vivid imagination..

This is how they do it ...

Yes that is a shame when wealthy people can get away with this! In America, the rich politicians push laws just for this purpose! Maybe this is World wide! But also there is no control on where the money goes that the poor people pay as taxes. So much goes into enabling corporations to pollute the water, sell toxic food, pump toxics into the atmosphere just because they pay corrupt politicians. Also instead of promoting diplomacy, militarization is promoted. This is a situation that has so many different opinions on what is the correct way to go, I guess whoever has the most $ get's their way!
