(Eks) WNI to enter Indonesia with foreign passport

Hello,

Is it possible to enter Indonesia with foreign passport, despite not lapor to KBRI that I obtained it (which means I'm not longer WNI) or getting through the revocation process? Last time I entered was with paspor ijo (hadn't gotten the foreign passport yet).

I know I can do VITAS-> KITAS process, but not sure if it's worth it? Anyone can please clarify the benefits if I just want to visit Indo every now and then? Also If I still want to stay abroad, should I go this path?

You can enter with foreign passport, just make 100% sure you do not bring anything also identifying you as an Indonesian citizen (Green passport, KTP, etc).

As for KITAS/P: If you plan on living in Indonesia permanently (or maybe even semi-permanently), then you could do it. If you are only visiting every now and then, and each visit is only for a month or less, just use the regular visa waiver. The only once in a lifetime exception I guess would be now, where only KITAS/P + WNI are allowed to enter due to Covid.

Hello, I am in similar situation with OP above. My understanding is To enter with foreign passport you must have one of the Vitas category allowed during Covid. My husband is WNI in Indo, so I need to apply using Vitas C-317 Penyatuan keluarga as WNA with foreign passport. Our marriage was local in Jkt as we are both WNIs at the time.
I want to stay Indo at least 3-6 months from December 20.
Has anyone in the situation above ? what paths / options do I have ?

Your husband has to apply for a family reunification VITAS for you. This process is now wholly online at http://visa-online.imigrasi.go.id
