Just going through the process of getting visa's for family visiting and the immigration department seem to want to make this as confusing as possible. I know that on arrival its extremely confusing as well and my goal here is to get the e-voa so that they can go straight through the autogates and not have to queue.

So i go on https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id/web/visa-selection and start filling it out. Is an e-visa and e-voa the same?
Do i select the option for B1- Tourist visa on arrival 30 days or the tourist single entry visit visa 60 days? Are they the same thing and are any of them the e-voa? Why suddenly change the name of the visa in the middle of the process?

In the end i know that the cost of e-voa is 500k which matches the B1 option so thats what ive gone with but seriously the immigration department need to get their act together if they want to compete for tourists. It gets worse on arrival with a lack of good signs explaining where to go.

Had my brother (Belgian) come over with his wife 2 months ago.
The visa was the B1 30 day V.O.A., all done on internet without problem include payment.
The "tourist tax" on the other hand, he never managed to finalize the payment on line. So he decided to pay it on arrival, not even sure they were asked to really pay it.
Stayed here 3 weeks in different hotels without problem.
