I have to travel May 5. No choice thanks to some lack of professionalism at the US Embassy. So, May 5th seemed to just miss the crackdown and no travel days that start on the 6th. Still need test but no problem there.
The thing is, now they are talking about extending the no travel days and move them up where I will fall into those days. Currently, the no travel days can be ignored if you have the testing and permission to travel for some important reason. I have not heard that they moved this requirement up also. If they do, how do you get permission and from who? Will my official appointment at the US Embassy be enough to present or do I need something else besides that?
You get no information from Indonesian media who seem to like to report something but then just lack any details about what they report. I am sitting here cursing the US Embassy since this could all have been done in March, then April. That's what happens when you follow their recommendations I guess.
