Dear Forum,

First of all I thank you for this forum. I applied for c317 visa on 26th May 2021, Paid on 28th May 2021 and got visa issued on 4th June 2021 (after 4 working days) or you can say 1 week.

First of all your spouse need to register on https://visa-online.imigrasi.go.id/ with family certificate , KTP and some other documents clearly scanned.

After that we applied once account is approved.

I have attached documents I used as sample.

1. HEALTH MONITORING DURING QUARANTINE OR SELF-ISOLATION
2. LETTER OF STATEMENTS
3. WILLINGNESS TO COVER HEALTH COSTS INDEPENDENTLY
4. Guarantor Letter (If your spouse is in Indonesia it requires to put materai stamp 10K, the stamp is for 10k now before it was 6K)

Other documents that are required are

1. Marriage books
2. Spouse ID/PASSPORT
3. HEALTH CERTIFICATE : Which is PCR test taken recently. I heard someone people just uploaded statement (like in WILLINGNESS TO COVER HEALTH COSTS INDEPENDENTLY.docx) But for safe side I uploaded PCR.


Once application is received you need to print out the payment receipt from email and go to BNI, BRI you need to have 150 USD money and 200,000 IDR Once paid take a receipt scan and save it with you.

Since we are not in Indonesia we asked some family to pay for us.

I lodged the application for my wife yesterday and I still haven't received any notification email yet. can you recalled when did you receive any notification email after the lodgement? Cheers

Check a spam folder from your email, you need to pay a fee in IDR + USD and the status of application changes after that.

thanks for the reply. yes, have been checking my email both inbox or spam/junk folder but nothing. but when I check the application status online (https://visa.imigrasi.go.id/) it does say "payment" though and there are payment code as well, i have attached a screenshot. I'm thinking whether or not to just made the payment with out the notification email asking me to pay.. would you be able to tell me what sort of email you received from immigration prior to the payment? cheers

You might as well make the payment anyway because the bank teller has to put in your personal file # so they will know it's been paid

If and when you get the email then just put the ref # in again

yes, it is very likely I will do that eventually. It just that I'm not very confident myself with all the documents I have submitted whether they are sufficient or not. for example most of the letters I submitted are not with any indonesian stamp as we are all offshore at the moment and also new requirement for statement letters which i draw up myself not so sure they wont need any correction.

The payment process is comical. The email received after application submittal states:

Jenis Pembayaran : Simponi
Informasi :

Harap periksa data di atas, sebelum melakukan pembayaran;
Pembayaran dapat dilakukan sejak diterimanya notifikasi ini sampai dengan selambat-lambatnya 7 (tujuh) hari sejak diterbitkan notifikasi ini;
Pembayaran dollar saat ini hanya dapat dilakukan melalui bank BRI, BNI, dan Mandiri;
Cetak Bukti Pengantar Pembayaran terlampir untuk ditunjukkan pada saat melakukan pembayaran;
Jika permohonan disetujui, Visa Elektronik (eVisa) akan dikirimkan via email;

I assumed that 'Simponi" is an online payment platform. Stupid me.

Okay...we went to a bank branch in our city to pay only to discover that payment must be done within Indo. A family member went to pay within Indo, and the bank cannot read the QR code on the immigrasi email.

You can do it online with Mandiri bank. My agent does that for B211 etc. Clients send her the 2jt and she pays it online through a special Mandiri account.

BNI just told us that the U.S. Dollar payment (US$ 150 for C317 / Biaya Visa : USD 150.00) must be done BEFORE 11am WIB.

11 days from submitting application online to the reception of eVisa .pdf files.

I've got the same issue with the C317 visa payment. we are not in Indonesia, and we don't have Indonesian bank accounts. Do we need to ask our Indonesian friends or relatives to help us with the bill?

I don't know how to pay right now. My wife and I aren't in Indonesia, and we don't have Indonesian bank accounts. Do we have to ask our Indonesian relatives or friends to help us with the bill?

Yes that is correct. They need to pay IDR billing code. In the BNI or any other bank.

In other words, I have to ask my relatives or friends in Indonesia for help. I didn't realize it would be this complicated, and C317 only be applied for online. I asked our country's embassy, and they don't accept applications for this type of visa~~~UNHAPPY
