For those interested in regional politics you may find it interesting to get emails from the Sarawak Report which continues to expose corruption involving billions of dollars involving Malaysia's UMNO government. The latest report shows billions of disappearing dollars involving a German company and a Malaysian naval procurement scam.
It is interesting to see that convicted, but yet to be gaoled, former PM Najib Razak continues maneuvers to avoid serving any time and have his convictions overturned. He and other co-conspirators have used stolen money to give UMNO as sweeteners to maintain political leverage.
The Sarawak report recently ran a story about one of Boris Johnson's close advisers being employed by tobacco companies as the British parliament moves to amend legislation that favours tobacco interests.
