Australia has just had the second largest port operator experience a cyber attack which shut down four major ports around the country. We are planning to spend $368 billion (but with blow outs probably at least double that) for 8 nuclear submarines to be available by 2050. Originally to be available in the 2030s. Maybe better to settle for 6 nuclear submarines and immediately allocate $2 billion for cyber capability for both defence and attack. As a loyal Australian I am prepared to immediately put $10 into a kitty for this purpose. Any other Australians using this forum prepared to stand up?
