Speedtest.net has published an overview with internet speeds all over the world.
Indonesia doesn’t score very high with position 101 on mobile internet right between Tanzania and Nigeria. Obviously these types of lists always need to be taken with a grain of salt, esp. since we don’t know the exact locations where there has been measured and if there have been any commercial incentives.
Talking about locations, the site also offers an overview of major cities, which could be somewhat more accurate. But even there Indonesia (i.e. Jakarta Selatan) doesn’t score very well.
The list includes the median download speed for Mobile (left column) and Fixed Broadband (right column).
There‘s also an overview with a comparison of the different mobile network providers. Telkomsel scores rather well.
