Cocoa Goes Crazy as It's Time to Be a `Raging Long-Term Bull'

Prices have surged 43 percent in 2018.

This is a disappointing outcome:
Indonesia’s output is likely to trail expectations this season, Citigroup said. The nation’s production has slumped in the past decade due to aging trees, diseases, extreme weather and better returns for other commodities.

Of course, by the time market news hits the ‘stands’ the original investors are already looking at their next investment.

I was surprised those involved in the cocoa plantation industry left it late to plant new saplings, or maybe disease or they got their timings wrong.

I don't invest but every-time coffee fluctuates I'm thinking cocoa. Not sure about the conditions for growing either but maybe they are similar?
