Chemical Mixing System

I am interested in finding suppliers of a "chemical mixing system". Basically a system that can mix methanol and water. It should be at least semi automatic where you more or less press a button and then the two liquids are being dosed in the right quantity and mixed - after which is can be drummed in again the right quantity. So somehow it must be at least a 3 tank/container system - some mixing and feeding, filling system. Capacity should be at least 5,000 liters.

Can someone lead me in the right direction? Appreciating your input

There are many ways to skin a cat?
5000l
Batching or continuous
How many batches per day
By weight or by volume or by conductivity
Accuracy expected.
Proper industrial process or shed/workshop based
How is methanol delivered ( Eurotainer) ?
Distilled or deionised water (do you have a plant for that)
Add colour for say windshield washer fluid?
Skid mounted or build in place

It is what I will be doing, sort of, in Karawang. But there I will be paid!

For a second I could not breath ... I though you want to mix ethanol with water = vodka (don't ask me why, it just came to my mind), you cannot imagine how happy and in state of highest euphoria I was .... but then I discovered letter "M" in front. All my hopes...were gone.

Vocaneal - I dont really have so much technical details but can seek answers at our mother company. We produce methanol fuel cells - and the fuel is a challenge in Indonesia. We need to be able to secure that our customers can get the fuel. It is actually not as such a problem buying the ready mix, or for that matter pure methanol, but to me it seems they charge quite a high price for the mixing process, that is the motivation for looking into investing in such equipment.

On top of that it could be interesting if the system could be moved from one location to another to produce the mix. Out fuel cells will be located in remote areas, where there is very bad or no PLN grid.

The capacity 5,000 liters per day is just a guess for now.. could be more, hopefully soon, when we will have more fuel cell systems up running.

But this moment I am trying to get some budget prices what such a system will cost - and where it can be bought.

Appreciating your input

Methanol is not corrosive by itself but will promote electrolytic corrosion so the material of construction for the tank needs to be considered. Mild steel or stainless. Mild steel is cheaper but will eventually corrode so you'll need to consider the service life.Tank obviously need to be large enough for a whole truck to discharge. Same goes for the drums you'll need to keep a good check on those if you reuse then for a long time.
Methanol is flammable so you'll need to keep the storage well away from other building /structures so out the back somewhere but accessible by tanker for unloading. . If you are in a compact industrial area it might not be suitable but it is easy to run a pipe back to the storage tank.
Other than that quite easy you need a few of pumps and some flow meters and one for the drum filling and some filters for the water. Pump and meter can be bought as units.
I don't know exactly where you will find someone to build a skid if you needed it skid mounted.

The capital cost is factored into the mixing cost which might be why it is high from your existing suppliers.

Business is business but carting specialist fuels to remote cell phone towers etc. seems a bit strange as even though remote, diesel for generators is everywhere.
