Hi Folks,
Our family (wife) purchase/leased our vehicle through ACC last year - all good and we have a couple more years to go. This was for her company to establish some credit - At the time I could (should ;) ) have purchased outright. ACC holds the ownership.
ACC approached her first and referred her to Permata Bank for an equity loan earlier this month. We discussed and felt that this might be the solution for bridging while awaiting some outstanding receivables. We are in-process and seems fine - I understood 2 weeks was 10 business days and now it appears to be 14 business days.
This is all very private stuff however today we have an urgent situation ahead of schedule and need to access this equity PDQ. Like today.
Does anyone have experience or advice on how to begin or if any formal groups can be consulted make this happen on an urgent timeline? I've got a couple of groups I could call to begin (normally 30%) as a Plan B but, as embarrassed as I am, thought I'd ask here first.
Best regards,
Rugby

Thanks for the prompt replies gents - good information. We were looking to pull half the equity (around 80jt) from the vehicle. I've got some solidly dodgy folks that will probably do it but I'd rather not get them involved in the personal stuff. Will check out the links above for info. There is no "gun pointed at my head" for this urgency however my wife might point a knife somewhere else for slipping up on the timing. Where else would you hear 14 business days? Either 10 or 15. Jeez :D

Sorry I can't help with the particulars, but I just want to thank you for posting and say please don't feel any embarrassment. You are doing a public service when you ask questions like this, because there are almost certainly going to be other people in the future who can benefit from reading answers to your questions.

For IDR 80mn, I think your chances are the same going to a bank for a personal loan. The online lenders from links above are priced (way) more than regular banks

In my experience, Danamon and CIMB Niaga can move fairly quick. Just go to the nearest bank, and try to talk to the branch manager to speed up the process

Thank you dipo for sharing your experience about flexible banks. In our case my wife was able to complete her business with ACC and Permata. I've been a little busy and apologize for the delay in responding - a little more than a week ago my Safari browser began blocking expatindo.org due to bad encryption and I've only now switched browsers.
