Adding a single room AC to your house. Reliable unit/pricing?

From my memories keypoint is the resistance (measured in Ohm) indeed, which will depend on the terrain in which you plant the (or multiple) copper rods.

Now, how many electricians have a meghommeter..... ? Because the basic multimeter is sure not the best recommended tool for this !
You do not need megaohm meter. Resistance shoud be 4 ohms or less. Need a cheap instrument(ground meter, price starts less than 1 mil). And groundings are done by specialists here, not regular electricians usually.

I do have the PUIL 211 amendment 2016 though I have a bit difficulty with the indonesian electrical terms used in PUIL, prefer IEC standards.
I was actually surpised these recommendation exist at all, when I found them last year.

Actually is not very easy test the earth ground resistance. In fact, not many electrician capable to do it. The reliable earth ground tester in Indonesia market is Kyoritsu, almost Rp. 4M - there's some cheap Chinese product less than Rp. 1M, but I can't say how reliable this product. here is the procedure https://www.fluke.com/en-us/learn/b...vdNlHwuOaYuuHuLpMy8L9ZcATZbQDH3xEycKpv-KhKf8B
In Indonesia, the cheapest Fluke earth ground tester is more than Rp. 30M

Chinese knock-offs are quite precise actually

I know there are many here who doubt the quality of electricians in Indonesia; but I can say, if you want, then not difficult to find a good electrician who knows both PUIL and IEC standards.
Electrical installation in our remote hut has just been completed; according to or even exceeding PUIL standards as I mainly refer to IEC.
The technicians we hired, did good job to install and test 3 grounding (PLN, surge protection and lightning), ESE lightning protection system, MCB box consist of 1 SPD and 16 RCBO, 30 Zigbee smart switchs of 4 gangs, 2 smart control panel and zigbee hub, almost hundred socket, 8 IP cam POE, and hundreds light - all done in one month, 2 persons.
The only problem if you want to hire him, he does not speak english and more expensive than common electrician. He's freelance Schneider contractor.
