AFAIK, It is illegal in many counters in the the world. But there is nothing to prevent people quoting in other currencies so the targeted audience, not familiar with those currency could estimate it without wasting time for conversion. But they actually convert it at the point of transaction. It is quite similar to quotation from other booking sites such as booking.com, Agoda, as well as ebay, Amazon (to some extends).
