Return of Passport after receiving Itap approval notification and electronic ITAP.
Finally got a reply after emailing the Director Generals Dept in Surabaya . Jember office emailed me within the hour . Your Alhi Status application is complete , your Itap and Passport are ready for collection/pick up !!- Nicho

Kitas to Kitap interview
Was before all the Covid regulations , my original Vitas to Kitas took 3 weeks in 2015 . Everything has to go through the Dept of Labour and Human Rights now with all the Covid regulations/rules . Has anyone converted Spouse sponsored kitas to Kitap recently?
Hope you haven't paid for the conversion yet . You'll have to start the Kitap process again if you leave the country on a Kitas . And no the money is not refundable .
