    Another good way to jail people would be to look at plastic surgery videos. Anyone altering the appearance that was given to them by god is clearly taking part in a haram act. Is what god gave them not good enough? Do they think they are better than god? Especially if they say bismillah etc...

    We also had some previous affidavits and they told us we had to renew them in the new format and pay the fee, although maybe it depends on the immigration office.

    If you didn't realize there is a halal deluxe version you have a lot to learn about how it works. Of course the rules don't apply to the rich and powerful ones, although they would not be dumb enough to be sipping their $1,000 whisky on a YouTube video.

    Yes, I think that is what happens in Malaysia, so it would probably happen here at some point. I remember a Malaysian lady being jailed for drinking beer in a bar a while back.

    Yes, it wasn't optional! It was done during the passport renewal process, and it's in the same building but on a different floor.

    An affidavit is now a separate document that has to be made at the immigration office. There is a new format that came in a couple of years ago. I think the official price is 300k or 400k. Normally when getting a new Indonesian passport for a dual citizen child they will ask you to do it.
