Hi all,

Quick question: As of July 17,2022, it looks like visa free entry is suspended until further notice.
If I am planning to visit Indonesia and Singapore, can I do the following?
  • Get visa on arrival at CGK
  • After 20 days of stay in Indonesia, fly to Singapore for a few days
  • Return to CGK, apply another VOA, and stay for another 2 or 3 weeks

Thanks in advance.

Visa free is available to passport holders of ASEAN nations: https://www.imigrasi.go.id/en/bebas-visa-kunjungan/

Before Covid it was available to most countries in the world, but that has not returned. There is a Visa On Arrival which is available to 72 countries' passport holders, costs 500,000, and is good for 30 days initially, extendable once for an additional 30 days. That will be the best choice for the trip you describe. https://www.imigrasi.go.id/en/2022/07/20/how-to-get-visa-on-arrival-in-indonesia/

If you are not a passport holder of those 72 countries, you should look at arranging a B211 visit visa with the help of a visa agent.
