NIK is very much a requirement to get the free gov't vaccine. If you are on KITAS/P you should have one.

the two elderly people thing doesn't seem to work any more as vaccines are running low on supply - we've tried it.
Also, I noticed that in idul fitri week they almost stopped giving vaccines. Normally it's 2m/week, last week they only managed 0.5m. At this rate they won't ever get anywhere near herd immunity, especially if the vaccine effects only last a year. Only 3.3% of the population have had both doses (after 4+ months of vaccines).

I missed the train on the two elderly=free one vaccine thing....Couple employees at wife's company said they got vaccinated (they're both young..in early 20s) just by giving their KTP to the RT...and said because their neighborhood might be considered 'higher density population' everybody in that neighborhood got vaccinated. As for me...what option do I have then? I don't mind paying..just wanted to get it over with...without too much bureaucracy.

Yes many. But you need kitas/kitap
I do have a kitas and right now in the process to get a kitap. When the staff tried to register and enter my kitas and SKTT number into their system, both numbers failed to be entered into the system.

Did you use the Kitas/Kitap number to get the free vaccine?

They didn't work during the lebaran week cause its holiday.. And it is true that the supply is running low. 2 weeks ago I was trying to get the vaccines, and when I got there 1 hour after the place was opened, they alrdy ran out of doses.

We just found a way to buy the vaccines... it is about 1 jt for 2 doses (but still not sure if the final price gonna be 1 jt since we might need to pay somebody 'coffee money')

since we might need to pay somebody 'coffee money'
Wow, costs are going up everywhere. It used to be just "cigarette money". Perhaps it will soon be "coffee, cigarettes, and a danish money". Am I going to end up having to bribe bapak-bapak with dinner and a movie? 😄

*I don't know anything about this particular topic, just kidding around in a general fashion.

Your SKTT should have a NIK number. That is the number you would use. Once on KITAP, you use the KTP. I only showed KTP, no immigration statuses.

Hopefully the vaccine supplies get more robust soon. You can now walk into most pharmacies in my state, in the US, and anyone can get their shot on demand. Masks even coming off for vaccinated people in many situations.

Curious if anybody here had Astra Zeneca as your vaccine? I asked my friend (who lives in Australia)..he seems a bit hesitant and said that it's not recommended/proceed with caution if you're under 50 years old. I may have an opportunity to get vaccinated but it's using Astra Zen...so I'm a bit cautious..

The vaccine roll out in Bali has been free AstraZeneca. My wife felt a little unwell for two days, her daughter (not a child ) was vomiting and quite sick for two days and then went back to work. I felt a little hot and thirsty for one day.

In Australia I never had flu vaccinations as virus continually mutate. Only had a vaccination here as it would seem any future travel will require a vaccination certificate.

Two days of not feeling well, then back to 100% on day three or they were still not feeling well, but good enough to do basic activities? So far the 'slight fever, weakness, a bit dizzy' seems to be pretty consistent side effects I've heard so far (heard stories from wife's friend...), my cousin in UK (older than 55) got hers already and no side effects...a friend in middle east got her first jab couple days ago and she said she just felt sore but that's about it and haven't heard any updates since then.

my husband and his family did have AZ. Hubby's parents were a bit warm and tired for a day or 2 then good. Hubby didn't show any side effects.

I think you are probably a bit scared lol. Honestly I think immune is more important. My cousin who is currently pregnant and got covid. She didn't show any symptoms, and her husband was always with her. Since her husband had good immune system, even they spent a lot of time together in the same room, the husband still didn't get covid.

I think in indonesia not everyone are lucky to have sinovac since now they have a shortage on vaccines.. so better take it if you think you have a good immune system. Just my opinion.

My friend in Australia started going out last year loll. Feels like there is no covid there.

Honestly I am not sure if the vaccination certificate would be considered a green-pass for travelling internationally. If yes it would be AWESOME.
